Snow blower accident
In early January 2023 Jeremy Renner had an accident. The actor was taken to the hospital in a critical but stable condition, up to medical reports. The actor was hit by a snowplow and received multiple injuries, including chest trauma.
According to the police report, the accident happened on January 2 at the house of Jeremy Renner. The actor was driving a snowplow to clear the paths, but got into an accident.
Jeremy Renner helped his nephew’s stuck truck out of the snow path while his snowplow was not put on the handbrake. The truck began to slide down the slope right on his nephew. When the actor noticed this and tried to stop the vehicle, he was pulled under the tracks. While rescuers were driving to the scene, the nephew and other people provided first aid to the actor.
Then he was taken by helicopter to the hospital, where doctors recorded fractures of 30 bones. In addition to broken leg, Hawkeye from Marvel got blunt force trauma to his chest and lost a lot of blood because of orthopedic injury.
Then the actor underwent an emergency operation. He spent almost 3 weeks in a hospital, but was always in touch with fans. He published the first photo after the accident on the second day of his hospitalization. Multiple bruises and scratches can be seen on his face.

On January 18 the actor of the Arrival was discharged from the hospital. The doctors managed to save his foot, which was threatened with amputation due to a large number of fractures. From home Jeremy Renner posted shots of recovery gear.

Jeremy’s Marvel co-stars Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly visited the actor after the accident. Evangeline Lilly told the press that Renner didn’t look as she expected. The Avengers actress revealed that Jeremy met her riding a wheelchair around the house. She thought that she would have to sit by his bed, but did not expect to see him cheerful and active. “He’s made of something really tough that guy”, Lilly said.
Paul Rudd also shared his opinion: “He’s doing alright. He’s doing well…He’s the best guy and he’s awesome”.
“These 30 plus broken bones will mend, grow stronger, just like the love and bond with family and friends deepens”,Jeremy Renner said about the accident.
