There is a slab of wet cement in Hollywood that tells you most of what you need to know about this family. In June 2022, outside the TCL Chinese Theatre, five Presley women knelt and pressed their hands into it: Priscilla, Lisa Marie, Riley Keough, and the twins Harper and Finley Lockwood, then 13. Last Wednesday, October 7, 2026, those twins turned 18, and their grandmother marked it the way this family now marks most things: with one photo, one line and no press release.
The birthday post, and why it says so much with so little
Priscilla Presley, 81, posted a photo of Harper and Finley on Instagram with the caption “Happy birthday Harper & Finley” and a heart. The twins stand in front of the ocean in matching black; Harper has kept her hair brunette, Finley has gone platinum blond. That is the whole post. Fans filled the comments with family-resemblance spotting, which is the Presley comment section’s favorite sport.

My read: restraint is the point. Pictures of the twins have been rare for years, and the adults around them seem to have agreed that their faces are not part of the estate. One photo a year from Grandma is about the right dose.
Who Harper’s parents are
Harper Vivienne Ann Lockwood and her sister Finley Aaron Love Lockwood were born on October 7, 2008, to Lisa Marie Presley, Elvis and Priscilla’s only child, and the guitarist Michael Lockwood, who married in 2006. Lisa Marie filed for divorce in 2016, and the divorce and custody case dragged on for years. After their mother’s death the girls lived with their father in California.
The twins also have an older half-sister, the actress Riley Keough, 37, and had an older half-brother, Benjamin Keough, who died at his home in Calabasas in July 2020. He was 27. Anyone who has read about this family knows that is a lot of loss for two teenagers. It is also why I find the quiet birthday post more moving than any red carpet could be.
Correcting what we got wrong in 2023
When this page first ran, it said Lisa Marie died of a heart attack. That was the early reporting, and it was wrong. In July 2023 the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner ruled that she died on January 12, 2023, of the sequelae of a small bowel obstruction caused by adhesions from bariatric surgery she had years earlier, and classified the death as natural. Our first version also put Benjamin’s death in a hotel; it happened at his home. Both are fixed here, and I would rather say so out loud than quietly edit.
The trust, and what turning 18 does (and does not) change
Here is the part people actually search for. After a court fight in 2023, Priscilla and Riley settled the dispute over Lisa Marie’s Promenade Trust, the trust that holds the family’s interest in Graceland. Under the settlement Riley became sole trustee, and she also became trustee of the separate sub-trusts for Harper and Finley; her lawyer said she would not charge a fee for it.
So does an 18th birthday hand the twins the keys to Graceland? No public filing says so. A trust can pay out at set ages or for set purposes, and the terms of the twins’ shares have not been made public. Anyone who tells you the exact date and amount is guessing. (I checked. Twice.)
What Priscilla says about them now
Priscilla has been the family’s most talkative member about the girls, and even she keeps it short. At a speaking event at the Westgate in Las Vegas in May 2026, reported by Page Six, she said the twins “do their thing” and described them as busy with their own lives, while saying she and the girls are still “close.” In December 2025 she posted a holiday photo with all three granddaughters captioned “Holiday 2025 & unbreakable family bond.”
Meanwhile Riley finished the job her mother started. Lisa Marie’s memoir, From Here to the Great Unknown, completed by Riley from her mother’s tapes, came out in October 2024, alongside a CBS special with Oprah Winfrey recorded at Graceland. It is the closest thing the twins have to their mother’s own account of the family they were born into.
My take
For years this page was mostly a gallery of street photos, and I have kept a few of them here as a record of how the twins grew up in public. But Harper and Finley are adults now, with the right to decide how much of themselves to show, and so far they have chosen almost nothing. Their handprints are already in the cement on Hollywood Boulevard. The rest of the story is theirs to write, when they feel like it.
